A few years ago I consolidated my vlog Dave Out Loud along with my sports blog Crazy Uncle Dave's Sports Page to my home school blog called Home School Dad and renaimed the whole shebang Leap of Dave. (My first name is Dave, if you hadn't noticed.)

This April I am bringing Dave Out Loud out of mothball to participated in the A to Z challenge.  Every Monday through Saturday I'll be posting a commencement address either at a University that starts with the letter of the Day or with a speaker whose name begins with that letter.

Today we go back 17 years to 2009 to South Bend Indiana where President Barack Obama was speaking at the University of Notre Dame commencement.

 

If the average age of a college graduate is 22 years old, the majority of these grads are pushing the big 40.
